Short ski shops opinion............

This wonderful mini ski from Sporten has a bit of everything. It has a wide toe and tail, which gives the Stringer very quick and easy turn initiation on short to medium radius turns. So what does that mean in plain English, it makes you ski like you know what you are doing. You point it and it goes there. The wider middle also gives a half decent performance off-piste too for such a small ski. So from hard packed piste to light powder, this bad boy brings a smorgasbord of features to the alpine table this winter.

We sell this ski with Tyrolia ATTACK 11 FULL release binding and the LRX 9 (rental) and also fitted with a NON Release binding elsewhere on our website.

Who are Sporten, are they any good?
Sporten are one of the oldest ski factories in Europe. They are not "Johnny come latelys" to the ski scene, they are based in the Czech mountains and have been manufacturing skis and snowboards for over 50 years. Apart from making their own label, they manufacture skis for many of the "Big Boys" in the industry, so quality is assured. its a well kept secret, oopps not anymore!

Its a little known fact that there are well over 200+ companies manufacturing skis around the world, yet we see the same 5 or 6 brands everywhere. Its a real shame as there are some real gems out there that get overlooked.

Very please with my purchase. Looks beter than the pictures and performed very well on a recent trip to Austria, cheers

It was very mild in Austria and the snow was turning wet and slushy and I was surprised how much "float" the blades actually provided over this "stuff" equily as good - in fact better - than the Rossignol 160 Bandits I was using as my full length ski. They were also easy to "skate" on the horizontal. They also felt assured on the few icy patches I encountered. So all in all top banana !

you will not be dissapointed with these blades! The bindings are tip top and the look and feel of the blade is the best by far! I went skiing on saturday and had no problems what so ever, they are light and easy to use which is great for what i need them for for (hoping to break into freestyle skiing) I would reccomend purchasing a bag with these blades as you need one for storage and it makes it easy to carry them around enjoy! Thanks Rick Rachel

I rang and spoke at length with one of the guys as i had an injury to my knee five years ago and have been struggling skiing ever. I ordered a pair which he recommended, I have since just arrived back from my ski trip and they were tremendous, I had total control, much easier to turn and because of that did my fist black run in 15 years of skiing. They came within two days, the only problem I did have was when i arrived out in ski resort my bindings hadn''t been set at correct figure so I had to get someone to re-adjust but other than that fantastic thank you so much.
