To measure your head for a helmet, use a soft plastic/cloth tape measure and measure around the circumfirance of the head. Use the widest part of the head, this is normally just above the eyebrows. Do not pull the tape too hard.
Read the tape where it overlaps.

DO NOT STICK FINGERS UNDER THE TAPE.

Helmets are meant to be worn without any other headgear, e.g. no woolly hats etc.
